LED Matrix

In mathematics a matrix is a rectangular array of numbers symbols or expressions. The individual items of a matrix are call it's elements or entries. A LED matrix is simply a bunch of LEDs sharing electrical connections. there are some limitations with LED matrixes but those can be crossed using multiplexing which is when a light is flashed on and off very fast so that human eyeball considers it as a constant. With a LED matrix if you have a anode column or row that means that that column or row was positive if you have a cathode row or column that means it is negative.
