Diodes

Today i learned about diodes. What a diode does is it makes electrical currants go in one direction.

There are different kinds of diodes. There are signal diodes witch are used with low electrical currants then there are rectifying diodes witch are used  with higher electrical currant. The way most diodes work is that they use semi conducting crystals that have gone through the doping process which is when different impurities are used to give it a positive or negative charge the crystals with the charges are called p type and n type and when they  come together they make a p-n junction  witch will conduct electricity only in one direction.
