Texas History

Texas is the 28th state of America and it's revaluation happens mainly because of two things. In new Spain there was no slavery but so people would colonize there they let them keep the slaves and the fact that in order to settle in new Spain you had to be catholic.  The Texas Revolution, also known as the Texas War of Independence, was the military conflict between the government of Mexico and Texas colonists that began 2 October 1835 and resulted in the establishment of the Republic of Texas after the final battle on April 21, 1836. Intermittent conflicts between the two nations continued into the 1840s, finally being resolved with the Mexican–American War of 1846 to 1848 after the annexation of Texas to the United States.
