Mushrooms are a very big part of the eco system. A lot of times the hook up to tree roots and give them water and and other things in exchange for sugars that the trees make. There are many mushrooms that you can eat and many that are poisonous and if you intend to eat a mushroom that you have found make sure you know what you are doing.
