I large robot that eats planets has attacked a star fleet ship. Captian kirk goes down to the ship where he finds the comondor who gets beamed up to the enterprise. The comondor tries to take over the enterprise but fails and later flies an escape pod to the machine where he blows up in side and dies. Kirk does the same thing with the comondor's ship and gets beamed out at the last second. The explosion from the ship disables the machine permenatly.
