Switches

There are lots of different kinds of switches such as the toggle switch, the DIDP switch, the slide switch, and the rocker switch. A switches throw number is the amount of connected positions that it can be set to. A switches pole number is the amount of separate circuits that it can be controlled by that switch at once. If you only want to cause a brief connection you should use a momentary switch. A normally open momentary switch connects the two terminal one is pressed it is the exact opposite for a normally closed momentary switch. With a toggle switch you flip it one way and the two terminals are electrically connected flip it the other way and the connection is broken.

A switch connects two pieces of conductive material witch creates a full circuit switch it the other way and it will brake the circuit.
