Iowa capital building

Yesterday me and my family went to the Iowa capital building. It was very interesting. The architecture was amazing there were statues everywhere practically everything was made of marble stone and the radiators were covered up by tables. On the second floor there was a giant hole in the middle of it all.

In the middle of the Capitol building we saw a model of a BB 16 or the USS Iowa it was amazing there where lots of anti air craft guns and six big cannons on the front and the back of the ship. There was lots of things on the ship that we could not identify. There were two planes for spotting other ships.

We also saw lots and lots of amazing art work statues with gold plating on them beautiful paintings there was one picture made of tile and the tiles where about two inches in length so there was about two thousand tiles but that is just an estimation. So that was my day thank you for reading

  1. Now that sounds like a pretty cool day to me. Can you imagine how much patience it has to take to make a mosaic? I wonder if you could make one yourself. I don't think I could. Do you know why? Because I am not a very patient person. :)

I forgot to say something on your brothers' blogs. Could you please pass my Happy Thanksgiving wishes to your brothers and your parents? Thank you.
